The PC of LA/Long Beach hosted the International Propeller Club’s West Coast Regional Committee on Friday, May 31, 2024. The day started out with a tour of the Port of LA (thank you, Port of LA for providing the vessel, and Daniella Ruiz for narrating!) and continued with lunch hosted by Yusen Terminals (thank you, Alan McCorkle and Fran Ohlheiser). Long Beach Container Terminals provided a fascinating tour of the facility (thank you, Anthony Otto and our fabulous tour guide, Jason Rendon) and allowed us to conduct our business meeting in their conference room. The day concluded with a reception at Shoreline Yacht Club in Long Beach. 

Thanks to all the attendees, the Port of LA, our lunch sponsor, Yusen Terminals, Long Beach Container Terminals, David Thornburg for orchestrating the event schedule and Jenn Baker for managing the logistics. It was a productive day and a great opportunity to collaborate with leaders from other Propeller Clubs on the west coast.
